The World Yisrael Beytenu Movement (Beytenu Olami) is an international Zionist movement representing the principles of the Israeli political movement and party “Yisrael Beytenu” in leadinginternational Jewish organizations, headed by the World Zionist Congress. Today, the World Zionist Congress is the central legislative body, determining the policy of the leading Jewish organizations in the world – the World Zionist Organization, the Jewish Agency for Israel (JAFI), the Jewish National Fund (KKL) and United Israel Appeal (Keren ha-Yasod). These organizations are responsible on behalf of the Israeli government and the Parliament (Knesset) for the connection between the State of Israel and the Jewish Diaspora.
Beytenu Olami is the only international Zionist movement representing the Russian-speaking Jewish communities around the world in the aforementioned structures.
For the first time in 2015, the World Israel Beutenu Movement reached wide representation of the Russian-speaking communities of the Diaspora at the World Zionist Congress, including Russian-speaking communities in the United States, Canada, Australia, Germany and the CIS, which until now have never been represented and there was no possibility of influence the leading Jewish institutions policy.
In USA, the World Israel Beytenu Movement scored a major success in the elections to the 37th World Zionist Congress where we won 10 seats.
At the last World Zionist Congress held in 2010 the World Israel Beytenu was allocated only 2 seats.
Also, for the first time we achieved the representation of the Russian Jewish communities of Canada, Germany, Australia. In Russia and Ukraine we increased the number of delegates to 4 (instead of 2 vs. last Congress gathering)
For the first time, we achieved the establishment of an Aliya Department within the World Zionist Organization and also an establishment of a special program for working directly with the Russian speaking Jews in the world, including Western countries.
We firmly believe that the enhancement of representation of the Russian-speaking Jews in the World Zionist Congress will strengthen their position and allow them to influence crucial decisions, thus affecting the future of the Jewish people and the State of Israel.
The headquarters of the World Yisrael Beytenu Movement (Beytenu Olami) are located in Jerusalem, the eternal undivided capital of the Jewish people.
